Message But in this case, we are talking about a "modification". This mod has nothing to do with adjusting the TPS at idle. It assumes that your TPS is properly installed for idle. It just so happens that the TPS tells your ECU how wide your throttle is opened.

And when the butterfly is opened perpendicularly to the throttle body (or opened all the way without surpassing its widest possible opening), the TPS will read above 4.6V (yes, FOUR point SIX), and not 4V. THAT is true WOT.

I haven't seen any proof (yet) that it doesn't give any gains. On the other hand, I have seen proof that it allows a minor gain.
